Families considering Red Crowns Senior Living would typically begin with a care assessment to establish the elder's mobility level, medical diagnoses, and daily living needs — whether that is post-hospitalisation nursing, wound care, medication management, or companionship support. It is worth clarifying at the outset whether the carers are registered nurses, enrolled nurses, or trained care assistants, as this affects what clinical tasks they may legally perform. Confirm the hours required, public holiday surcharges, and whether the service can flex up during recovery periods or scale back when the elder improves. Involving all key family decision-makers in this initial discussion helps avoid changes to the care plan later.
To take the next step, contact Red Crowns Senior Living by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, and request a care needs assessment before agreeing on a service plan or rate.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
My brother is staying at the Senior co-living home at Whampoa Drive since 22 Sep 25. He likes the stay there. The caregivers Hti Ram and Nant are kind and caring. My brother always look forward for the meals (breakfast, 10am tea break, lunch, 3 pm tea break, dinner ) as the caregivers always provide variety of dishes that delighted him. The caregivers accompany them to the morning exercise and give him guidance and encouragement during the physical exercise. My brother has since strengthen his hands and legs muscle. The afternoon group activities also interesting and encourage bonding amongst the 6 residents. They enjoy the passing of balls, piecing together the wood block etc. They organized outing once per month which let the residents to visit place of interest. I recommend elderly who is always alone at home to stay there.
I am relieve and glad that a social worker recommended Red Crowns Senior Living to me. After weighing the pros between a nursing home and Red Crowns, I decided to arrange my godmother who has slight dementia to stay with Red Crowns. I have no regret making this decision because I know that my godmother is properly taken care off. The caregivers are attentive and caring. They plan warm home cooked food, balanced diet and arrange indoor and outdoor activties. With so many people around her, my godmother is much healtier and happier.😃 Thank you Red Crowns Senior Living.
I highly recommend this place, and I've already recommended it to my friends. I love the programs (exercise and games) that Red Crown provides, as well as the daily dishes you've prepared for my mom. Exercise is my mom's favorite, and she's happy to teach her housemates qigong. Thanks to Red Crown's elderly care for their meticulous care.
My family and I are very happy to have my father as part of Red Crown resident. We are very happy and satisfied with the services provided by Red Crowns. It is like getting my father a second home. The home has the necessary elderly assisted living facilities and is well maintained by caregivers. The meals prepared by caregivers are also very delicious and healthy. This really impressed me. Both caregivers were very friendly and well-trained. They will engage elderly in exercise, games and bring them downstairs for walks occasionally. The home is also 24/7 CCTV link, so it is very safe and trustworthy. I believe that my father will be well taken care.
I cannot recommend Red Crowns at Cashew Heights highly enough. My aunt has been a resident for 3.5 months, and her transition from her previous nursing home was incredibly smooth, thanks to the supportive and professional team. The care she receives is outstanding. A special mention must go to her primary caregivers, Aye and Imelda. Their dedication is truly remarkable; they are not only highly skilled and well-trained in elderly needs but also incredibly kind and patient. It's clear they genuinely care about the residents' well-being. The management is also very responsive. When I requested a new wardrobe for my aunt, it was promptly addressed and taken care of. The facility itself is wonderful—my aunt enjoys nutritious, well-prepared meals, her vitals are checked daily, and there are great activities to keep the residents engaged and stimulated. We especially love that they organize monthly outings! Having a dedicated care coordinator provides immense peace of mind, knowing there's always someone ensuring everything runs perfectly. Thank you, Red Crowns, for providing such a safe, happy, and caring environment for my aunt.

Red Crowns Senior Living operates on an hourly pricing model, which is standard for visit-based home nursing in Singapore. Market rates for home nursing visits typically range from S$25–60 per hour for trained care assistants and S$60–120 per hour for registered or enrolled nurses, depending on clinical complexity. For longer or recurring engagements, some providers offer daily or monthly packages that work out at a lower effective hourly rate. Confirm the following before agreeing to any arrangement: the exact hourly rate for each care tier, public holiday and weekend surcharges, minimum visit duration, and whether agency fees are separate from the caregiver's rate. Mileage or transport costs may also apply for islandwide coverage. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Based on the hourly pricing model listed, Red Crowns Senior Living operates on a visit-based model rather than a live-in arrangement. Visit-based home nursing suits elders who are largely independent but require scheduled clinical support — wound dressing, catheter care, post-discharge monitoring, or daily personal care assistance — without round-the-clock supervision. Confirm the minimum and maximum hours bookable per visit and whether sessions can be scheduled multiple times a day. Ask about the trial period policy — a short trial of one to two weeks is reasonable before committing to a recurring schedule — and what the replacement process looks like if a caregiver is unavailable or not a good fit with the elder.
No AIC or MOH regulatory licence is currently recorded on this listing, which is a point families should raise directly with Red Crowns Senior Living before engaging. For home nursing services, registered nurses must hold a valid Nursing Board Singapore (NBS) licence, and enrolled nurses are similarly regulated. Care assistants are not licensed professionals but may hold certifications from the Continuing Education and Training (CET) framework or WSQ eldercare modules. Ask the provider whether caregivers carry professional indemnity or public liability insurance, and what the protocol is if an incident occurs during a home visit. Confirm these details in writing alongside the care plan and agreed rate before any care commences.
