About SA Catering Singapore
SA Catering Singapore is an islandwide event caterer operating from Senoko South Road, offering buffet and catering services across Singapore. KakiList has verified the provider's operating details and contact channels. The Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 across 1,489 reviews represents a robust sample and suggests consistent performance. Pricing is displayed at the mid-range tier on a per-pax model, which is standard for buffet catering.
When planning an event with SA Catering Singapore, start by confirming your guest count and event format — standard buffets typically require a minimum of 30 to 50 pax, while mini-buffets for smaller gatherings may require 8 to 15 pax. Share your dietary mix upfront: halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, or other requirements should be declared before the menu is finalised. Ask whether SA Catering Singapore holds a MUIS halal certificate if any guests require certified halal food — "no pork no lard" without MUIS certification does not meet the same standard. Confirm delivery and setup timing, whether chafing dishes and warmers are included or billed separately, whether a buffet attendant will be on-site, and what the teardown arrangement is after the meal service window closes.
To get started, reach SA Catering Singapore by phone or through the enquiry form, with your event date, expected headcount, venue address, dietary requirements, and preferred buffet style ready. Request a written quotation that itemises per-pax rate, minimum headcount, delivery and setup fees, equipment rental if applicable, and the deposit and balance schedule before committing.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Mukul Rekesh, VIP Server for his excellent service @ SAF VOLUNTEER CORPS 10th Anniversary Dining In @ PLC Leaders Hall on 31 Jan 26;(Sat). Beautiful set up and delicious food once again by Stanford Catering! we have been returning customers over the past 2 years and are never disappointed with the standard! Today we catered for nearly 200+ pax and everyone was satisfied with the meal! Raju and Kumar were great in setting up our buffet table so well and promptly! Friendly faces and always ready to answer any questions we have. They even take time to ensure we have sufficient utensils and plates/bowls! Thank you Stanford Catering delivery staff and team!
We first discovered Stanford Catering at a friend’s birthday and were impressed – so we decided to order from them for our own lunch party for 10 people. And they absolutely delivered. Everything was extremely well organized and reliable from start to finish. The self-heating containers are almost like magic – the food stays perfectly hot and ready to serve on the spot, which makes hosting completely stress-free. The dishes were delicious, full of flavor, and there was a great variety to choose from. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and convenience you get. Highly recommended for any gathering if you want great food without the hassle.
This was the first time I ordered self heating mini buffet for CNY. Food was delivered on time and well packed with cutlery. The chicken curry was very good, fried rice and cabbage roll were nice too. However, the other dishes were so-so. Salted egg prawns were tiny and the dessert had more water than ingredients (see photo). Overall a pleasant experience, I'll order again for the curry.
Dinesh was the who set up the buffet catering for us, the buffet was very well arranged and inviting. Thank you for your hard work and attention to detail, and made the event feel extra welcoming. Good job.

SA Catering Singapore prices on a per-pax basis, which is standard for buffet catering in Singapore. Market norms run S$15–25 per pax for a standard buffet (minimum roughly 30–50 pax), S$25–40 per pax for premium spreads with live stations, and S$18–30 per pax for mini-buffets serving smaller groups of 8–15 pax. Bento delivery, where offered, typically runs S$8–18 per pax. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm in writing: the minimum headcount, any delivery and setup fee for your venue address, equipment costs (chafing dishes, warmers, serving tongs — sometimes included, sometimes billed separately), buffet attendant charges (typically S$80–150 per attendant), waste collection, and whether GST applies. SA Catering Singapore displays mid-range pricing, so clarify the full all-in cost before signing off. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
Before booking, confirm whether SA Catering Singapore holds a MUIS halal certificate — the certificate should display a licence number and validity dates. "Halal-friendly" or "no pork no lard" menus without MUIS certification are not the same as certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict halal compliance. Also confirm vegetarian options (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef dishes for Hindu guests, and any gluten-free or nut-free requirements. For mixed dietary events, ask about cross-contamination protocols — separate serving utensils and dedicated preparation areas matter when halal and non-halal items are served at the same function. Most caterers offer a menu tasting for orders above a minimum value — ask SA Catering Singapore whether this is available before paying your deposit, as the menu tasting is the most reliable way to assess food quality and portion size for your specific guest profile.
Legitimate caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, D. SA Catering Singapore does not currently list regulatory licences on this KakiList profile; contact the provider directly to confirm their SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before booking, especially for larger events or where guests include children, elderly attendees, or immunocompromised individuals. For food safety, hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C, and cold items held below 5°C per SFA guidelines. Confirm setup arrival time relative to your event start, buffet replenishment protocol during the service window, and the policy for safe handling or disposal of leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence and, where halal food is required, the MUIS halal certificate — both should be available on request. Book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
