About Shiok BBQ Singapore
Shiok BBQ Singapore is an event catering provider operating islandwide from its base at 129 Owen Road. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though no ACRA registration or regulatory licences are on record. A Google rating of 4.6 from 11 reviews suggests positive early feedback, though the sample is small and should be treated as directional only.
Enquiries typically begin with confirming your pax count and minimum order — standard buffets usually require around 30 to 50 guests, while smaller gatherings may qualify for a mini-buffet format. When reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form, it helps to share the event date, venue, dietary mix (halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef), and whether you need a buffet attendant on-site. Confirm what is included in the quoted per-pax rate — delivery and setup, equipment such as chafing dishes and warmers, teardown timing, and how leftovers are handled. As no MUIS halal certificate is listed, guests who require strictly certified halal food should clarify this directly before booking. A menu tasting before paying the deposit is advisable where available.
Contact Shiok BBQ Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm per-pax pricing, minimum headcount, dietary options, and the deposit and balance schedule for your event date.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
Messaged the team for an urgent bbq order and they responded promptly and treated my order seriously. Yuna and the team were really nice and helpful and food quality was great and delicious. Super trustworthy and would definitely order again!
Did a last min BBQ order 2 days before my event. Food is good and value for money! Customer service(Zoe) was of great help and delivery was on time! In a nutshell, food quality is probably the best you can get for the price range and customer service is excellent. Highly recommend!
Ordered online at 10pm but encountered issues with ordering form. Sent a message via whatsapp and the team responded promptly and helped rush my order for next day. Order was sent accurately and on time the next day. Everyone loved the premium seasoning and special butter that accompanied each food item. It really helps elevates the bbq experience. For reference, I got the sakura ebi sambal stingray, oysters, scallops, moo ping, leeks, prawns and swordfish(everyone was surprised that this is fish as its texture was more meat-like. My 7 yr old son loves it)
They make really nice BBQ and are super accommodating. We all had a great time. Will order again!
Impressed with the food quality. Didn’t expect the food to be nice at all from a wholesaler. But surprisingly good.

Shiok BBQ Singapore is listed at a mid-range price point, though a specific per-pax figure is not published. As a reference, Singapore market norms for event catering run roughly S$15–25 per pax for a standard buffet, S$25–40 for premium spreads, and S$30–60 for live-station formats, all subject to a minimum headcount of around 30 to 50 pax. Bento delivery for smaller groups typically runs S$8–18 per pax with a lower minimum. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm whether delivery and setup are included, whether chafing dishes, warmers, and serving equipment are provided or billed separately, and whether a buffet attendant on-site carries an additional charge (typically S$80–150 per attendant). GST and any surcharge for non-central delivery addresses should also be clarified in writing before signing off. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
No MUIS halal certificate is listed for Shiok BBQ Singapore. Guests who require strictly certified halal food — not merely no-pork-no-lard — should raise this directly before booking, as 'halal-friendly' menus without MUIS certification do not meet the standard for guests observing halal dietary requirements. For mixed-dietary events, it is worth asking about vegetarian options, no-beef dishes for Hindu guests, and any cross-contamination protocols if multiple dietary groups are being served from the same setup. Confirm whether a menu tasting is available before committing to a deposit — most caterers offer this for orders above a minimum value, and it gives you a reliable sense of portion size, flavour, and presentation before the event day. Always get the dietary mix, specific dish list, and any substitution terms confirmed in writing.
No SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence is listed for Shiok BBQ Singapore at the time of this listing. Before booking, ask the provider directly for their SFA licence number and hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. For events above around 20 pax, working with a licensed and graded caterer gives you recourse if a food-safety issue arises. For hot food served at events, SFA guidelines recommend a cooked-to-served window of roughly 2–3 hours, with hot-hold maintained above 60°C and cold dishes held below 5°C. Confirm setup arrival time relative to guest arrival, how food is replenished during the event, and the protocol for safe handling of leftovers. Confirm the SFA Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
