About Singapore Learner
Singapore Learner is a tuition centre operating islandwide from its base at Blk 644, Bukit Batok Central, #01-68, Singapore 650644. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5, though this is drawn from 16 reviews, which is a small sample — treat this signal as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the S$$ level; specific per-session or monthly fees were not provided at the time of listing.
When enquiring, it is worth clarifying which academic level and syllabus the centre covers — whether Primary, Secondary, JC, or beyond, and whether lessons are aligned to the MOE syllabus, IGCSE, IB, or another framework. Ask whether sessions are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and price. Find out whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and confirm whether lessons are held in-centre at Bukit Batok or online. It is also sensible to ask about term-based versus monthly commitments, any required materials or workbooks, and the cancellation policy.
To take the next step, reach out to Singapore Learner directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form to ask about availability for your child's level, arrange a trial class, and receive a clear fee breakdown before committing.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My son went to Singapore Learner in preparation for his private O-level exams. Good learning environment and teachers. It really helped him to prepare well for his exam. Special mention to Zaynab, the assistant whom I liaise with regarding lesson schedule and admin matters. She has been very helpful and nice. My son got B3 for both Physics and Chem with only 8 mths to prepare for the exam. Really grateful this Center. They also seem willing to help students in need and with financial difficulties so do reach out.
Best tuition centre in Singapore for Science practical lab tuition, all 3 science lab tuition available and the teacher and equipment and all necessary items are all provided and well planned. The teacher is extremely knowledgeable. Fantastic centre for o level tuition and o level prep. Prices are also much fairer than other centres, fantastic value. This centre also has a toilet.
totally not suspicious 5 star review, would recommend, do your due diligence in r/forums
Having undergone 2 years worth of practical training at Singapore Learner, I had an enjoyable time there. Lessons were engaging with the curriculum set to challenge students as the practicals can be tough, but the knowledge I learned overall helped me with the final O Level exam in 2025, allowing me to score A1 in both Pure Chemistry and Physics! Would recommend for students to head down for comprehensive practical training!
thank you to Ms Tang, Mr Li, Mr Md for the odd-hour or late lessons apart from lab for o level a level science practical, there is theory here and they could accommodate uni level math my grandchildren went here before jc and poly - so good work.

Singapore Learner displays a S$$ price indicator on its listing, but a specific per-session rate, monthly package fee, or term fee was not published at the time of writing. Tuition centres in Singapore typically charge on a per-session, monthly, or per-term basis, and rates vary depending on whether lessons are one-to-one or in a group, the academic level, and the subject. When you enquire, ask for a written breakdown that includes the trial class fee (if any), regular session fee, materials or workbook costs, and any sibling or package discounts. Confirm whether fees are collected monthly or per term, and what the policy is if you need to pause or withdraw. See the full tuition centre cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes free, sometimes charged at the standard session rate — before you commit to a term or monthly package. A trial is the most reliable way to assess whether the level is appropriate for your child, whether the teaching style suits their learning preferences, and whether the class size allows enough individual attention. When attending a trial, observe how the tutor handles questions, whether the pace matches your child's current standard, and how engaged your child is by the end of the session. Ask Singapore Learner directly whether a trial is available, what it costs, and whether the fee is credited against future sessions if you decide to enrol.
Tutor credentials were not listed in the provider data available at the time of writing. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject, whether any have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, and how many years of tutoring experience they bring to the subjects offered. Also confirm which syllabus versions tutors are familiar with — for example, the revised MOE Primary Mathematics or O-Level English syllabuses — as alignment to the current examination format matters. If Singapore Learner cannot answer these questions clearly, treat that as a signal to keep exploring your options before committing to a term.
