Recently started my braces journey here with their only orthodontist. He is very gentle and quite meticulous, so no complaints about his work. But honestly, the scheduling and queue management is quite frustrating. He seems very tightly booked, and the waiting time is always much longer than expected. Twice now my queue was cut. The first time, one auntie insisted she had to rush back to work and kept arguing with the receptionist. She just walked in ahead of everyone. My appointment itself was about an hour, and when I came out she was still there arguing… so much for rushing back to work. Today it happened again. Two angry men kept trying to cut the queue, saying the clinic owed them dentures from more than a year ago. They didn’t want to wait and kept pushing to go in first. Eventually they were allowed to go in. I don’t mind waiting if the clinic is busy. But today I waited 1.5 hours. What’s worse is the queue-cutting culture that seems to be tolerated. It’s quite upsetting to see rowdy patients just walk all over the system while the rest of us sit quietly and wait our turn while the staff watch helplessly which I believe they should step in instead of it behaving like a self service clinic. The staff are actually nice, but the scheduling really needs improvement. I doubt every visit can be done in 30 minutes, so maybe they should allocate more realistic time slots instead of overpacking the schedule. Not looking forward to the rest of my visits. For now, I wouldn’t recommend until they improve their booking and queue system.
