About SOG Dr Petrina Wong's Clinic For Children Respiratory Sleep
SOG Dr Petrina Wong's Clinic For Children Respiratory Sleep is a paediatric specialist clinic located at Gleneagles Hospital Annexe Block on Napier Road. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.6-out-of-5 rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, so treat the figure as directional. No regulatory licences have been supplied to KakiList at this time, so parents are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration independently before booking.
For a first appointment, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or via the enquiry form to describe the child's presenting concern — respiratory symptoms, sleep-disordered breathing, snoring, or related conditions — and to arrange a consultation slot. A private specialist first consultation at a Gleneagles-based clinic typically runs S$120–250, with investigations such as blood panels, chest X-rays, or sleep studies billed separately. Parents who hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before the visit, and should ask the clinic about MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal eligibility and CDMP coverage where relevant chronic conditions are involved. A polyclinic or GP referral letter is not mandatory for a private specialist visit but may assist with insurance claims.
To make an enquiry or book an appointment, contact the clinic directly by phone or through the online form — have the child's medical history, current medications, and any prior investigation reports ready to share at the first consultation.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
This is easily one of the best pediatric clinics in Singapore. We have been visiting Dr. Petrina Wong since our younger daughter was born, and at 2 years old now, we continue to feel incredibly comfortable and well-cared for here. We recently had a high-stress situation when my daughter’s fever spiked to 40.1°C. The front-of-house staff were incredibly observant; they noticed her condition immediately and sought Dr. Wong’s advice to administer fever medication and tests right away. Their professional and kind handling of the situation brought us immediate relief. Dr. Wong is exceptional. She answered all of our questions thoroughly, which really helped alleviate our anxieties as parents. She also arranged for prompt follow-ups, which allowed us to stay ahead of the infection and monitor her recovery closely. The entire team at the clinic is empathetic and kind. They truly understand how scary these situations can be for parents and children alike. We are so grateful for the high standard of care Dr. Wong and her staff provide.
One of the best pediatric clinics in Singapore. I had taken my 3 year old daughter when she was getting 104°f fever. The staff at the triage noticed that and immediately sought doctor's advise to administer fever medication, the way they handled it was very professional and kind. The doctor ran quick antibody test and diagnosed that it was influenza A. She took plenty of time to answer all our questions to help alleviate our parental anxieties and also arranged for prompt follow ups. This really helped in staying ahead of infection. Everyone at the clinic was kind and empathetic, which helped with an already difficult and scary situation.
Dr Petrina Wong is our favourite PD to date, she’s quick and accurate on her diagnosis and treatment plan. Whenever we visited her many weeks apart, she never failed to remember the “last seen” condition of my child such as his breathing pattern etc. It felt like the dr is with us for the long run. Staff at the clinic are also very kind to everyone. Whenever we had questions we could just asked over whatsapp and will get prompt responses.
Dr Petrina is just wonderful! I am very happy I've been referred to her by another doctor! She is very calm, approachable and so good with kids. She communicated with them really well. My daughter did not mind being checked by her at all, and she also took time answering all questions that I had and took time to explain how to take each medicine. And the clinic is beautiful. With lots of nice toys for kids to play.
We’ve been visiting Dr. Petrina for more than 2 years, and every experience has been fantastic. She is patient, thorough, and great with kids, making each visit comfortable and stress-free. She is meticulous in checking the condition of my child and detailed in explaining the medical plan to us. In addition, the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly, and I always feel like my child is in excellent hands. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a caring pediatrician!

Private paediatric specialist consultations in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. At a Gleneagles-based clinic, fees sit broadly within that private-market band, though the exact figure depends on consultation duration and complexity. Investigations are billed on top of the consultation: blood panels S$60–200, chest X-rays S$80–150, and sleep studies (polysomnography) S$800–2,500+ depending on setting. Prescriptions and follow-up reviews carry separate charges. GST applies to private medical services. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before agreeing to proceed. No regulatory licences have been supplied to KakiList for this listing. Parents should verify two things independently before booking: first, that the clinic premises hold a current MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory; second, that the consulting doctor is on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, with specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine confirmed. For a respiratory and sleep specialist, a fellowship with the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) or an equivalent Royal College credential is the meaningful additional marker beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry — neither alone is sufficient. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient stays subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer before any planned procedure and request a Letter of Guarantee to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the S$500 annual withdrawal limit for general outpatient care, and up to S$700 under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including asthma and selected chronic respiratory conditions. Separate MediSave limits apply for certain scans and procedures. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask the clinic for a pre-treatment financial counselling session — most private-hospital-based clinics will issue an itemised estimate splitting insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions in writing. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
