About Tenderbest Catering

The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the service carries a 4/5 rating across 171 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable signal of consistent delivery. When enquiring, share your event date, venue, estimated headcount, and the dietary mix of your guests — particularly whether halal certification, no-pork-no-lard, vegetarian, or no-beef options are required. Confirm the minimum order quantity, per-pax rate, and whether the quote includes delivery and setup, chafing dishes and warmers, a buffet attendant, and teardown. For larger or mixed-dietary events, ask whether a menu tasting is available before signing. Clarify the cooked-to-served food-safety window for hot dishes, replenishment arrangements during service, and what packaging is provided for leftovers.
To take the next step, reach out to Tenderbest Catering by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, providing your event date, venue address, guest count, and any dietary requirements, so they can prepare an accurate quote and confirm availability.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
All the dishes we ordered tasted good. The restaurant is spacious, air-conditioned, and comfortable. Customers write their own orders and submit them to the staff, and you have to collect the food yourself when it’s ready. However, the staff were not very friendly or smiley. Another issue was that I was seated by the window, and staff came to clean the glass very close to our table. They also kept moving two sets of children’s chairs back and forth, which caused loud noise. There were two staff members cleaning and standing very close by, which disturbed our dining experience and felt uncomfortable. My husband was almost unable to tolerate it and wanted to ask them to stop. If cleaning is necessary, I would recommend doing it before the restaurant opens when there are no customers, or if it must be done during operating hours, waiting until there are no customers seated near the window area. The restaurant should improve on this aspect. Other than that, everything was okay, and the food tasted good.
Great spot, I love how spacious it is. Came for dinner on a weekday and there were plenty of seats available. The restaurant was also spacious too. Food was ready shortly after ordering and the chicken was freshly fried too. Variety of items to choose from the menu. Will come again!
Nov 2025: stumbled upon this place as I was running errands nearby. Very good food - pizza and dry laksa were tip top. Portions were large and yummy. Will make it my go to spot from now on!
🌟 5/5 – Highly Recommended! NGL GAIS!!! The food was absolutely delicious !! every bite was full of flavor and beautifully served with hotel-style plating! 😋 The waiting time was surprisingly short, and the kitchen staff were super nice and helpful from start to finish. We enjoyed everything so much that we left with clean plates! Definitely a place worth coming back to. 💯✨ lot if love frm malaysian family members 💞💜
honestly one of the more value for money dining spots! tenderbest is known for their fried food so we got the chicken cutlet and also tried out the hokkien mee with grilled chicken chicken cutlet gets a 10/10 from me, the skin is crunchy and the meat is very tender, the fries is crispy too. hokkien mee is not too wet and the sauce is umami, goes well with the grilled chicken

Tenderbest Catering prices on a per-pax basis, which is standard for buffet catering in Singapore. Typical market rates run S$15–25/pax for a standard buffet (minimum roughly 30 pax), S$25–40/pax for a premium spread, and S$18–30/pax for mini-buffets serving smaller groups of 8–15. Bento delivery typically falls at S$8–18/pax, while live-station formats command S$30–60/pax. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm whether the quote includes delivery and setup to your venue, equipment hire (chafing dishes, warmers, serving tongs — sometimes included, sometimes billed separately), a buffet attendant on-site (typically S$80–150 per attendant), waste collection, and GST. Non-central or landed addresses may carry a delivery surcharge. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
Before booking, confirm directly with Tenderbest Catering whether they hold a MUIS halal certificate — and if so, whether it covers the kitchen or only specific menu items. A MUIS-issued certificate with a valid licence number and expiry date is the only reliable standard for guests who require certified halal food; 'no pork no lard' without MUIS certification does not meet this requirement. Also confirm availability of vegetarian options (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef dishes for Hindu guests, and any allergen or gluten-free accommodations. For events with a mixed dietary guest list, ask about cross-contamination protocols between halal and non-halal preparations. Most caterers at this scale offer a menu tasting for orders above a minimum value — request one before paying any deposit.
No regulatory licences are currently listed on the Tenderbest Catering KakiList profile. Before booking, ask the company to provide their SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence number and hygiene grade — A is the highest rating, followed by B, C, and D. If halal certification is required, also request the MUIS certificate; both documents should be available on request or displayed on their website. For food safety, cooked hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, maintained at above 60°C until plating. Confirm the setup arrival time relative to your event start, replenishment frequency during service, and the handling protocol for leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing before paying any deposit.
