Dr Gavin is an excellent dermatologist. Recently, I had been down with a severe case of shingles and he treated my condition with utmost care and professionalism till I was completely well. Dr Gavin has been my go to doctor for my other skin issues previously. So this time I messaged him to see if he could see me. He was overseas then but that did not stop him from treating me. Instead with a few pictures send to him and a description of my condition, he knew it was shingles. Immediately, he got his nurses to prepare the antiviral and pain medication for me to collect and take within the day. I was very fortunate by his efficiency and expertise that prevented me from suffering worse effects of delayed treatment which for shingles can be damaging. From my first appointment to my last follow up, I felt like I was in good hands. He truly listened to my concerns and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Shingles takes a long time to heal especially the lasting pain afterwards. But he knew exactly how to tailor the recovery and pain treatment based on how I was feeling and that got me back to full health unexpectedly quicker. I felt that he took extra care to go above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and supported. I am truly grateful for his dedication to my well being and positive impact he has on my health. I was so surprised and satisfied with how Dr. Rachael Teo gives treatment and consultation. She's very warm, detailed, and good. Though i just get a small infection that some doctors might just look down on, she takes care of it properly and explains everything to me clearly. I never felt so comfortable with a doctor before. She helps me to cut the dead skin near my wound and does thorough examination around the wound without any pain at all! Her hand skill is top notch 💯 On a side note, I agree with the reviews that some of the receptionists/staffs are not really friendly (even from the call) but it shouldn't discredit dr. Teo or this clinic from 5+ stars!
