About The Kid's Clinic Compass One
The Kid's Clinic Compass One is a paediatric clinic located at Compass One shopping mall in Sengkang, serving families across the north-east of Singapore and beyond. KakiList has verified the clinic's operating details and contact channels. The Google rating stands at 3.3 out of 5 across 108 reviews — a robust sample size that warrants careful reading of individual feedback before booking.
For most families, the first visit involves presenting a child's symptoms or developmental concern directly to the paediatrician, who will take a history, conduct an examination, and advise on investigations, prescriptions, or referrals as needed. Paediatricians also administer and advise on the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule, which covers vaccinations from birth through adolescence. For developmental milestones and growth concerns, the clinic may refer onwards to a specialist or allied-health service. Private paediatric consultations are typically S$120–250 for a first visit; families holding an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before any planned procedure. MediSave can be applied under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for selected childhood conditions and under the outpatient withdrawal limits for eligible items.
To book an appointment, contact The Kid's Clinic Compass One by phone or via the enquiry form, and bring your child's health booklet, vaccination records, and any referral letter if applicable.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
We’ve visited The Kids Clinic three times, and each visit has been a pleasant and reassuring experience. During our most recent visit, our 7-month-old son had a persistent high fever. As first-time parents, we were understandably very anxious. The doctor immediately did a swab test and confirmed RSV, then calmly assured us that everything was under control. The explanation was clear, detailed, and delivered with so much patience, and all our questions were answered thoroughly, which really helped ease our worries. We’ve seen both doctors at the clinic, and they are equally kind, gentle, and professional. They are also very thoughtful when it comes to prescribing medication, taking care not to over-prescribe, especially when visits are close together. Not forgetting the nurses and clinic staff — everyone is warm, kind, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more comforting. We are truly thankful to have found this clinic and would highly recommend The Kids Clinic to any parent looking for compassionate, attentive, and trustworthy care for their children. 💙
I’ve been bringing my son to Dr. Lillian Lim since he was born — he turns 9 this year — and I truly can’t recommend her enough. As a naturally anxious (very paranoid) mom, trust that I am extremely particular about who I trust with my child’s health. Dr. Lim has always been incredibly professional and thorough. She listens carefully and is excellent at her diagnosis. Every visit leaves me feeling reassured and confident that my sons are in the best hands. My son has been admitted to the hospital a couple of times under her care, and each time she managed his treatment with such competence and attention that he made a full recovery. Having a doctor who is not only medically skilled but also genuinely caring makes all the difference. Dr. Lim is truly one of the very few doctors I trust wholeheartedly with my child. We’re so grateful for her.
Have been going to Kid's Clinic for both my sons for 7 years now. Both Dr Allyson and Dr Lillian are kind, good with kids, professional and competent. The nurses team are super patient & nice - they manage the queues well and will call to notify if available slots open up ahead of your booked time. Really appreciate the doctors & team! ❤️
Can't give 5 star review because I can't even walked in. Called up and the staff named Sandy just said they are full. It was 1243pm. But she just stopped there without providing a solution. Even asked me to google and visit another clinic at a nearby block. Kids fall sick unexpectedly. Not something that is planned. If i knew my kid is falling sick today, i would called to make an appointment a few days prior. Rather than being dismissive, she could have explained that if I chose to walk in, it will be a long wait. Thanks for the excellent service.
Compared to The Kid’s Clinic at Sengkang Grand Mall, the Compass One branch is better. It’s the same brand, but the service is different. The counter staff are very friendly, they play with our baby, talk to our baby, and make the baby smile. All the staff serve with a smile. The doctor is also friendly and explains our baby’s condition in great detail. Making an appointment is easier compared to The Kid's Clinic at Sengkang Grand Mall.

Private paediatric consultation fees in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups at private clinics. Common additional charges include vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, and prescriptions — these are billed on top of the consultation fee. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or investigation, ask for a written breakdown that splits what can be claimed through your Integrated Shield Plan, what can be withdrawn from MediSave, and what you pay out of pocket. The paediatric $$-tier positioning at The Kid's Clinic Compass One suggests fees sit in the mid-range for private paediatric care. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences are currently listed in The Kid's Clinic Compass One's KakiList profile. Before booking, search the MOH licensee directory for the clinic premises and confirm the consulting paediatrician's name on the SMC register. Both checks take under five minutes and are the minimum standard for any private medical consultation. For surgical or subspecialty paediatric referrals, a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FRCS, FAMS) is the meaningful additional credential to look for beyond basic SMC registration.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider structure. Confirm with your insurer whether outpatient paediatric consultations are claimable under your specific plan, and obtain pre-authorisation before any planned investigation or procedure to avoid post-visit claim disputes. MediSave can be withdrawn for outpatient expenses under the MediSave 500/700 limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient use, S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers selected childhood and chronic conditions including asthma. Vaccinations on the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule may also attract MediSave or Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) subsidy depending on your child's citizenship status and the clinic's accreditation. For any procedure carrying a meaningful cost, request a written financial counselling estimate before committing — this is the most reliable way to avoid a bill that differs significantly from your expectations.
