About The Pot Head Steamboat Catering
The Pot Head Steamboat Catering is a steamboat and buffet caterer serving events islandwide from its base at 5 Mosque Street. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.9/5 rating across 1,615 Google reviews — a robust sample that consistently points to strong food quality and service reliability.
Engaging The Pot Head Steamboat Catering typically begins with confirming your pax count and whether the event calls for a full steamboat setup, a buffet spread, or a combination of both. Steamboat catering involves more equipment — portable induction or gas burners, pots, ladles, and broth — so setup and teardown windows are longer than standard buffet catering and should be factored into the venue booking. Confirm the minimum headcount, per-pax pricing, and what is included in the package: broths, raw ingredients, condiments, serving ware, chafing equipment, and whether a buffet attendant is on-site to replenish. Ask about the dietary mix your guest list requires — halal, no-pork-no-lard, vegetarian, or no-beef — and whether MUIS halal certification covers the kitchen or specific menu items. A menu tasting or consultation call before signing is advisable for larger events.
Contact The Pot Head Steamboat Catering by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm your event date, headcount, dietary requirements, and delivery address before availability closes.
Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
veey good The broth was rich, spicy, and full of authentic flavor, with the perfect level of numbing heat. The ingredients were fresh, especially the sliced beef, tofu, mushrooms, and vegetables, which all cooked beautifully in the soup. I also loved the dipping sauces, which added even more depth to the meal. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy with friends or family. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout the meal. Overall, it was a delicious, memorable dining experience that I would happily recommend.

Post-errands hotpot at Wu Da Lang and it did NOT disappoint! Everything tasted clean and fresh, you can really tell the ingredients are good quality. The meat was nicely sliced and the asparagus were super fresh and crunchy. Perfect comfort meal after a long day of errands. Definitely coming back again! 💯
Food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The portions are definitely above average, so you really get great value for what you pay! The soups were a standout— the broth was incredibly aromatic, rich, and full of depth without being too heavy. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation and quality of ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, and the presentation was very appealing as well. The atmosphere made the experience even better, creating a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and would happily recommend this spot to others. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
Delicious hotpot at a super reasonable price. Everything is fresh and delicious. Best part is their late night promo where after 10:30pm, there is half off for soup base with a free dish! Incredible value

The Pot Head Steamboat Catering uses a per-pax pricing model, which is typical for steamboat and buffet catering in Singapore. Standard buffet catering runs S$15–25/pax, premium spreads S$25–40/pax, and live-station or steamboat setups tend to sit at the higher end of S$30–60/pax given the additional equipment involved. A minimum headcount — typically 30–50 pax for full catering setups — usually applies. Confirm what is included in the quoted rate: broths and raw ingredients, condiments, serving ware, chafing dishes and burners, and whether a buffet attendant is provided on-site. Delivery and setup fees may apply for addresses outside the central region. A deposit and balance schedule — typically 30–50% on booking, balance before the event — is standard. Steamboat catering can accommodate a range of dietary requirements depending on the ingredients and broths used. Common options include no-pork-no-lard menus for mixed-faith guest lists, vegetarian spreads, and no-beef selections for Hindu guests. If your event requires strictly certified halal food, confirm whether The Pot Head Steamboat Catering holds a MUIS halal certificate — a MUIS certificate displays a licence number and validity dates, and is distinct from an informal 'halal-friendly' or 'no pork no lard' claim. For events with a mixed dietary guest list, ask about cross-contamination protocols — separate utensils, pots, and serving stations matter when halal and non-halal items are present at the same event. Confirming this in writing before booking avoids misunderstandings on the day.
No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile. Legitimate caterers operating in Singapore should hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, D — and halal-certified caterers additionally hold a MUIS certificate. Contact The Pot Head Steamboat Catering directly to confirm their SFA licence status and hygiene grade before booking. For steamboat catering specifically, food safety depends on ingredient freshness, cold-chain handling during transport, and broth temperature management on-site. Hot broths should be held above 60°C and cold raw ingredients below 5°C per SFA guidelines. Confirm setup arrival time, how ingredients are transported and stored, and the protocol for handling leftovers safely after the event.
