For a first appointment, patients or parents typically contact the clinic by phone or through the online enquiry form to confirm the consulting doctor's availability and current waiting times. A first specialist consultation at a private dermatology clinic in Singapore generally runs S$120–250, with follow-up reviews at S$80–180. Common add-on costs include investigations such as patch testing, skin swabs, blood panels, and dermoscopy, as well as prescriptions and procedural treatments. For paediatric dermatology specifically, the consultation will typically cover common childhood skin conditions — eczema (atopic dermatitis), urticaria, molluscum contagiosum, fungal infections, haemangiomas, and acne in adolescents — alongside a treatment plan and follow-up schedule. Parents should bring the child's medication history, any prior allergy test results, and photographs of previous flare episodes if relevant. Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life may cover specialist consultations and day procedures subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms; confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer before any planned procedure.
To book, contact The Skin Drs directly by phone or through the enquiry form on the clinic's website, confirm the consulting doctor's name and availability, and verify both the doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before your appointment.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I had a blood test done at The Skin Drs clinic and wanted to express my sincere appreciation to the team who assisted me during my visit. I have some anxiety and past trauma from a previous blood test that didn’t go well, so I was quite nervous before the procedure. The two nurses who assisted me were incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire process. They even asked if I would like numbing cream before the procedure, which I really appreciated and agreed to. They spoke to me calmly, took their time to make sure I felt comfortable, and their encouraging words really helped me settle down. Because of their professionalism and compassion, the experience turned out to be much smoother than I expected. Their patience and gentle approach made a big difference, and I truly felt cared for during the visit. I would also like to thank Dr Liew for the consultation. She was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions clearly without rushing. I appreciated that she was straightforward and honest, and I never felt pressured to do additional treatments such as lasers or other procedures. It was refreshing to have a doctor who focuses on addressing concerns rather than pushing products or treatments. Overall, I’m very grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and patience shown by the team at The Skin Drs. clinic. Thank you for going the extra mile to make patients feel safe and at ease — it really means a lot.
Dr Liew took her time to explain the diagnosis and treatment plan of my skin condition. Did not feel that consultation was in a rush. Very reassuring and conservative. Felt like I have seen her since forever even though it was just my second visit with her. My skin condition has stabilised and I am grateful for her advice and help. Thank you Dr Liew. Counter staff are friendly and efficient too.
Dr Liew is amazing. She is patient, warm, takes the time to listen and understand and exudes genuine care. She also gives great advice and her prescriptions do work. Front desk staff are also very pleasant. Highly recommended!
Dr. Liew is amazing. She’s very thorough, detailed and explained with care and in simplest language that we can all understand my mom’s concern. You can feel her empathy, sincerity and concern. Impressed by her knowledge and advise. The staff are very efficient and polite. Highly recommended.

First specialist consultations at private dermatology clinics in Singapore typically run S$120–250, with follow-up reviews at S$80–180. For paediatric dermatology, common add-on costs include skin swabs, patch or allergy testing (S$80–200), dermoscopy, blood panels, and prescription topicals or systemics. Procedural treatments — such as cryotherapy for warts or molluscum, or laser for vascular birthmarks — are billed separately and should be quoted in advance. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that itemises the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. No licence details have been confirmed in this listing, so parents should verify this directly with the clinic before booking. Every practising doctor in Singapore is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Dermatology, and any disciplinary history. For paediatric dermatology, look for SMC specialist accreditation in Dermatology and, where relevant, fellowship credentials such as FAMS (Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore). Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking your child's appointment — neither alone is sufficient.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient admissions subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure — such as a skin biopsy, laser treatment, or day surgery — confirm pre-authorisation and request a Letter of Guarantee from your IP insurer before the appointment to avoid post-treatment claim disputes. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the S$500 annual withdrawal limit for general outpatient conditions, or up to S$700/year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic skin conditions such as eczema where applicable. A financial counselling session at the clinic will produce an itemised pre-treatment estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket costs — request this in writing before any procedure, as skipping this step is the most common source of bill surprises.
