About Thomson Paediatric Centre Waterway Point
Thomson Paediatric Centre Waterway Point is a paediatric clinic located at Waterway Point in Punggol, serving families across Singapore. The clinic holds a 4.6-star rating across 285 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and provides a reliable signal of patient and parent satisfaction. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data, so parents are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctors' Singapore Medical Council registrations directly.
For a first visit, parents typically book an appointment by WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Thomson Paediatric Centre covers the range of paediatric medicine — well-child developmental reviews, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule (BCG, hepatitis B, DTaP, MMR, varicella, and others), acute illness consultations, and ongoing management of childhood chronic conditions such as asthma and eczema. For planned visits, it is worth confirming whether the consulting paediatrician is an SMC-accredited specialist in Paediatric Medicine, as this affects insurance and MediSave claimability for certain services. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel for cashless or direct billing, particularly for day procedures. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed childhood conditions, and the MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal limit applies for general outpatient claims.
To arrange a consultation, contact the clinic directly by WhatsApp or phone to confirm appointment availability, the consulting doctor's name and SMC accreditation, and the financial arrangements for your specific insurance plan before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Always wonderful experience visiting Doctor Kenneth! The whole team has always been friendly, caring and helpful. My baby daugther is very active and they always know how to handle her! Would definitely visit the clinic for any future check up :)
Dr Kenneth is very friendly and knowledgeable. We always thankful for his expertise advice and consultation. The staffs are friendly too. Like their new queue number system also so we don’t need to wait at the clinic for long time.
Here my honest review about this clinic, I wish I can give Doctor Chua 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but Google only rate overall for the clinic. Doctor Chua was an amazing Doctor! He's the best compare all the pedia i go before (like a lot ), I have met lots of Paediatrician already , Is just I have compare Doctor Chua as a very kind doctor and have a very big patience to all your queries he will let you feel comfortable too! Ok I give 2 star because of the receptionist. The one who always do the billing (especially) she is rude. She don't like repeating questions ,she will show irritated face at you which is so rude. Well I never say anything until I go back again bring my child and here she is again she's just so irritated. I don't think she fits this job , if you don't have patience then at least act nice . I can't just control my self not to review. Doctor Chua still the best. Except their reception.
Great experience at the clinic. Efficient queue system and knowledgeable doctor. The nurses here are very friendly and helpful too.
No matter how many alternatives we have, we’ll always go back to Dr Kenneth ! He’s gentle, fun and so patient with our baby. It feels great knowing that our child is handled professionally and with lots of care. Thank you for being one of the best Dr. for us to go to whenever .

Paediatric specialist consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups. On top of the consultation, common additional charges include vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine, noting that some National Childhood Immunisation Programme vaccines are subsidised at polyclinics), blood panels (S$60–200), and any prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or specialist investigations, the clinic should provide a written financial counselling estimate that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before any work proceeds. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether Thomson Paediatric Centre Waterway Point is on their insurer's panel for direct billing. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. No licences have been confirmed in this listing, so parents should verify the clinic's licence directly with MOH before booking. Every practising doctor must also be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — searchable at smc.gov.sg by name. For a paediatric specialist, confirm that the doctor holds SMC specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and check for any fellowship credentials (MRCPCH or FAMS in Paediatric Medicine) as these indicate post-basic specialist training. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry — neither alone is sufficient.
Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to deductibles, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation with your insurer for any planned procedure and request a Letter of Guarantee before attending to avoid billing disputes afterwards. For outpatient visits, MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed childhood chronic conditions — the annual withdrawal limit is S$700 per patient under CDMP, and S$500 for general outpatient claims. Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme may be partially subsidised when administered at polyclinics; private clinic rates are typically higher and may not be claimable under MediSave. Request a financial counselling session so the clinic can itemise the full bill in advance, including any investigations and prescriptions.
