About Thomson Paediatric Clinic Pte Ltd
Thomson Paediatric Clinic Pte Ltd is a paediatric clinic located at Thomson Medical Centre on Thomson Road, serving families across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level; specific consultation fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the clinic.
For a first visit, parents typically present with a concern — a child's fever, developmental milestone query, rash, respiratory illness, or vaccination schedule under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP). At a private paediatric clinic, the first consultation fee is generally S$120–250 without a polyclinic or GP referral letter; follow-up visits typically run S$80–180. Investigations such as a blood panel (S$60–200), urine dipstick, or throat swab may be ordered at the same visit and billed separately. For planned developmental assessments or referrals to allied-health support, parents should bring any existing reports from the child's preschool or previous clinician. Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life may cover paediatric consultations and day procedures subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider terms; MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits and the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) apply to eligible conditions.
To proceed, contact Thomson Paediatric Clinic Pte Ltd via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm current consultation fees, the consulting doctor's name, appointment availability, and your Integrated Shield Plan's pre-authorisation requirements before attending.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Our family has had a wonderful experience with this clinic. Both Dr Yang & Dr Ang are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring, especially for anxious parents like us. What also stood out is the amazing team of nurses and staff. They are gentle, attentive, and so good with children. Even during vaccinations, they managed to keep things calm and comforting. As parents of young kids, finding a clinic you trust means everything, and we truly feel our children are in very good hands here. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a caring and professional paediatric team.
I have mixed feelings about this practice. On one hand, the pediatrician is absolutely wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares for my child’s health. However, the appointment is a major issue. Despite having a scheduled appointment, we consistently wait over 2 hours in a crowded waiting room majority of sick children. It feels like appointments are just a suggestion rather than a commitment. I value the doctor, but the wait times are nearly impossible to manage with an infant.
This clinic treats babies like tasks/treatment duties - not humans. My experience here was appalling. At registration, the nurses behind the counter didn’t acknowledge my greeting. Without looking up, they shoved a form at me to fill in with no eye contact, no warmth. When I asked where the diaper changing station was, the same middle-aged staff member did the same: pointed vaguely to the side without even glancing up. I found this incredibly rude and dismissive. The clinic itself felt like a marketplace, chaotic and overcrowded, with a wait time exceeding two hours. Horrendous. I only ended up here because my baby was automatically assigned to Dr Ang Ai Tin after delivery at TMC. As a first-time mum, groggy, in pain from a C-section, and simply following instructions, I showed up for the follow-up. Dr Ang had been lovely during her daily ward visits, but at the clinic, she quickly dismissed my nanny’s responses during the jaundice review, jumping to conclusions without proper engagement. She was in a rush to end the consultation, understandably so since the clinic is so packed and she has lots of babies to see. We switched to another paediatric clinic after this less-than-ideal experience and received drastically better care - gentle handling, respectful communication, and a far more supportive environment.
🌟 Exceptional Care from Dr. Ang Ai Tin & Her Wonderful Team! 🌟 We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Ang Ai Tin and her amazing team at Thomson Paediatric Centre. Dr. Ang is not only our trusted paediatrician, but she also played a special role in our journey; she helped deliver our son! From the very beginning, her calm, professional, and compassionate approach gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. As our child grows, Dr. Ang continues to provide excellent care, always taking the time to explain, listen, and ensure our concerns are addressed. Her dedication and warmth are truly exceptional. The clinic staff are just as wonderful, always kind, attentive, and efficient. Every visit is smooth and welcoming, and we always leave feeling reassured. Downside? The waiting times can be a tad longer than expected (if you do not have any appointment and decided to walk in) but it is worth the wait. Thank you, Dr. Ang, for being such a special part of our family’s journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor and team. Highly recommended to all parents looking for outstanding paediatric care! 💖
PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS HORRIBLE DOCOTR ANG AI TIN. If you love your kid do not visit this clinic run the other way. I have encountered with DR ANG AI TIN A FEW TIMES. The first few times was when my wife was still warded after giving birth. When she visited us at the ward she was like extremely in a rush and don’t have any sign of respect or sympathy when updating us about our baby’s condition. Today I visit the clinic when I enter the room the first thing she did was criticising us by saying “aiyo only how many days old sick already ah” You think any parents will want their kids to be sick. We visit clinic is to find out what is wrong with our child and not for you to criticise us. When we explain what is wrong with our child she just keep shaking her head and try to scare us even more or trick us to come back to her clinic again by saying all sorts of scary stuff about our child sickness. I quoted what she said. “There is infection in the nose and throat and it may affect the lungs and will have to wear the mask for baby to inhale the medicine” “ This is just the beginning only it will get worst from here yall be prepared” “ still small alot medicine cannot give no choice lor have to use nasal spray only” and she kept repeating about that can’t give medicine over and over again for few times. Totally no reassurance at all just non stop criticising me and my wife and which seems to me cursing by child I have been to other paediatrician non have the same attitude as DR ANG AI TIN. I highly not recommending her to be your babies paediatrician is really a nightmare. I see alot of the reviews replying the same thing refining their blah blah blah pretty sure this reviews don’t even feed back to her. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS CLINIC

No regulatory licences were listed for this provider at the time of publication. Every legitimate paediatric clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory — and every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm their SMC registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. For paediatric specialists, a fellowship with the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) or a Royal College paediatric credential is the meaningful additional qualifier beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before booking — neither alone is sufficient. Given that no licences are currently listed here, parents are strongly encouraged to verify these details directly with the clinic.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private paediatric specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient stays, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes afterwards. MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits apply to selected outpatient items — S$500 per year for general outpatient use, S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers eligible chronic conditions including asthma. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a financial counselling session at the clinic so you receive a written itemised estimate splitting the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and your out-of-pocket portion before any payment is made. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill.
