About Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities

About Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities

Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities offers home nursing services across Singapore. The provider is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It carries a Google rating of 3.5 out of 5 from 18 reviews — a small sample, so treat this as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range tier; specific hourly rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly.

Families typically begin by contacting the team via phone or the enquiry form to arrange a care assessment. This initial step helps establish the elder's mobility level, medical conditions, and the hours of support required — whether that is a few visits per week or a more intensive schedule. Home nursing engagements commonly cover wound care, medication management, vital signs monitoring, and post-hospitalisation recovery support. It is important to clarify at the outset which clinical tasks fall within scope, whether a registered nurse or enrolled nurse will be assigned, and what the protocol is if the caregiver is unavailable for a scheduled visit.

To take the next step, contact Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities by phone or through the enquiry form on their website to request a care assessment and obtain a written quote covering the hourly rate, visit frequency, and any additional charges.

Subject: Feedback on Meal Delivery Timing Dear Thye Hua Kwan Team, I would like to provide some feedback regarding the meal delivery to my mum’s home. Currently, lunch and dinner are delivered around 10:30 am and 3:30 pm, which is about two hours earlier than her actual mealtime. It would be greatly appreciated if the delivery timings could be adjusted to approximately 11:30 am for lunch and 5:00 pm for dinner, so that the food remains fresh and warm for her. Thank you for your understanding and efforts in improving the service.

My father has recently been discharged from hospital and we have been assigned a ICS (interim care services) personnel from Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities. Her name is Davinia. She is meticulous, shows tremendous initiatives and has gone out of her way in her care of my father. She has been a great support in this difficult adjustment period for my family. We are expressing our gratitude by leaving positive comments over the Web. Thank you Davinia.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities charge?

Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities prices its home nursing services on an hourly basis, though specific rates are not publicly listed and will depend on the level of care required — enrolled nurse visits differ in cost from registered nurse visits, and clinical complexity affects pricing. When requesting a quote, confirm the following in writing: the hourly rate by nurse grade, any surcharge for public holidays or after-hours visits, transport or travel charges, and whether GST applies to your engagement. As a charitable organisation, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities may also be able to direct eligible clients towards financial assistance schemes. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities offer?

Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities operates under a home nursing model, meaning care is delivered through scheduled visits rather than a live-in arrangement. Visit frequency and duration are typically set following the initial care assessment, and can range from a single weekly visit to daily support depending on the elder's condition and the family's circumstances. The scope of visit-based home nursing generally covers clinical tasks such as wound dressing, catheter care, medication administration, and post-discharge monitoring. It does not ordinarily extend to round-the-clock personal care or companionship — families requiring more continuous support may need to consider a separate live-in arrangement alongside nursing visits. Confirm the replacement or continuity policy should your assigned nurse be unavailable.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

Home nursing staff at registered charitable providers are ordinarily either registered nurses (RNs) or enrolled nurses (ENs) holding qualifications recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board under the Allied Health Professions Council framework. When enquiring, ask specifically whether the nurse assigned to your family member is a registered or enrolled nurse, and request confirmation of their nursing board registration number. Note that Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities does not currently list AIC or MOH registration in its publicly available licence information — families should ask directly about regulatory registration status and insurance coverage for caregiver injury or incidents during home visits before committing to a care plan.
