About Trehaus

About Trehaus

Trehaus is a playgroup provider operating at its City Hall centre, located at 109 North Bridge Road, #07-21, Singapore 179097. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. The provider holds a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 based on 22 reviews — a moderate sample size, so treat this as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.

Families interested in enrolling should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as playgroup places can fill up several months in advance, particularly for January intake. When you make contact, ask about the daily routine, the child-to-educator ratio, and the settling-in approach so your child can adjust comfortably. It is worth arranging a centre visit to meet the educators in person before committing. Do also confirm whether the centre is ECDA-licensed, as this determines eligibility for government subsidies available to Singapore citizen and permanent resident children.

To take the next step, reach out to Trehaus directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your preferred start month and to arrange a visit to the City Hall centre.

Hosted my daughter’s birthday party at Trehaus. It is a wonderful experience with the venue - the kids loved the playground. The whole place feels clean, cozy and bright. They even have a stage which is really great for magic show and cake cutting. A big shoutout to the staffs who were there during the event - they had been very helpful, and reacted fast with all my last min requests and helping me to look after the kids at the playground area. The before and after event customer service is great too, they would follow up and ensuring everything will turn out well for my event. I would really recommend them if you are looking for a place to host your event. This is the most satisfied venue which I ever had.

My daughter attended Trehaus Preschool from 18 months old until almost 4 years old, and it was truly the best experience as a first-time mom sending my child to school. The school offers very easy access for parents to check in at any time, and the level of transparency gave me so much peace of mind. They also send the cutest photos and videos daily, which made us feel connected to her day and reassured that she was happy and thriving. A special thank you to Mrs. Jaz and Lin Laushi — they are the best teachers I have ever met. Both are incredibly passionate, caring, and knowledgeable about early childhood education. The individual attention my daughter received was amazing, and it really showed in her confidence and love for learning. She absolutely loved going to school and still talks about it all the time. Thank you, Trehaus, for giving her such a beautiful first school experience.

Absolutely THE BEST school that our son has ever been in! We have been travelling a lot and we have enrolled him in different schools and we unanimously agree that Trehaus has been the best for him thus far! Our son usually cries a lot when he reaches a school and takes awhile to settle in, but Trehaus has been the only one that he hops off and runs in himself happily. The amazing curriculum is also unparalleled and we do wish there are more of them everywhere else! Especially in Australia where we live and we know that their holistic education will be greatly appreciated. One of the things we also notice that is every single one of the teachers here have a lot of love for the children. Their enthusiasm in their interaction with the kids and how they go above and beyond to ensure the kids are well taken care of for every little detail really shows through the happiness of the kids who are there. As a parent it is so important to know that our kids will be well taken care by teachers who TRULY care. The "open concept" of the co-working space right next to the classrooms with glass windows that allow us to peep at our kids and watch them during the day really sets us at ease knowing that they are in safe hands. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing the expansion of Trehaus to touch many more lives!

I saw on Tiktok about the Trehaus and got curious about how do Crèche + Work thing. So we contacted them to do a tour on a weekend and my little boy likes the place. We signed up for the Crèche + Work pass. We did it just for a couple of days and cancelled it because of many circumstances. If not because of health reasons and coming to Australia, we were still doing the Crèche because we like the people, the service and the place.

Cozy cafe hidden at level 7 of funan. Drinks around $5+ and can use for entertainer app 1 for 1 deals. But the hochicha latte and Moroccan mint tea were not very nice to drink. Perhaps other drinks are better.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Trehaus charge per month?

Trehaus operates on a monthly recurring fee model and is priced in the mid-range tier for Singapore playgroups. When enquiring, ask for a full breakdown that includes the one-time registration fee, the deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), as well as any charges for uniforms, insurance, or consumable materials. Childcare and playgroup fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so no GST should be added to the tuition component. Fee structures can vary depending on the programme type, session frequency, and the child's age group, so it is best to contact Trehaus directly for a current fee schedule. What subsidies can I claim at Trehaus?

Government subsidies for childcare and playgroup are available to Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare (and up to S$600 for infant care). The Working Mother's Child Development Subsidy (WMS) offers additional support for mothers working at least 56 hours per month. The Additional Subsidy is income-tested and, when combined with the WMS, can bring total monthly support to up to S$710 for eligible families. Singapore permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies. Before assuming subsidy eligibility, confirm with Trehaus whether the centre holds the necessary ECDA licence, as this is a prerequisite for subsidy claims. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are subject to change — refer directly to the ECDA website for the most current figures.

Is there a waitlist at Trehaus?

Playgroup and childcare places in Singapore can be in high demand, particularly for the January intake period. For popular centres, families are advised to enquire three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date to avoid missing available slots. Infant care places tend to have the longest waitlists, though playgroup availability varies by centre. To secure a place at Trehaus, you will typically need to pay a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit. Contact Trehaus directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check current availability for your preferred start month and programme.
