About "Wildlings Forest School"
Wildlings Forest School is a playgroup provider based at 27A Loewen Road, offering nature-based early childhood programming in Singapore. The listing is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.1-star rating across 68 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that offers reasonable directional signal, though parents are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier on a monthly recurring basis.
When enquiring, families should ask about available slots for their intended start month, the age range accepted for playgroup sessions, the child-to-educator ratio, and what a typical daily or weekly session looks like. It is worth asking about the settling-in period and what support is offered to help younger children adjust to the forest school environment. As Wildlings Forest School does not currently hold a listed ECDA licence, parents should confirm directly whether ECDA subsidies or the KiFAS scheme apply to enrolment here, as eligibility depends on the centre's regulatory status.
To take the next step, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and to arrange a visit to the nature space at Loewen Road. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Wildlings Forest School" directly to confirm details.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Absolutely brilliant party! We had a campsite party at Dempsey the staff where amazing I was nervous about safety but they had it all under control and were very conscious of the safety of the kids and also encouraged and ensured every child had an experience lighting the fire and chopping wood. We would highly recommend Wildlings for a party! Thanks so much to the lovely staff who were so patient and kind!
Both my children attend Wildlings Forest School Club and I can't recommend it highly enough. My two are very different, an active 4 year old boy and a creative, emotionally aware 10 year old girl, but the Forest School leaders provide such a variety of experiences that there's something for each of them every single week. We've been going for years and it's never repetitive (not just forever practising a forward roll or how to kick a ball!). The effort from the leaders is huge and we really appreciate how creative they are. Thank you Wildlings🙏🏽
We go to Wildlings Nature Play at both Dempsey and West Coast Park and love it. It's always a little different each time, not like indoor play-gyms which are the same formula every visit and a bit overwhelming with colors and noise plus I do worry about the germs in those places. Wildlings recently started doing free interactive tours and things like feeding the chickens as part of Nature Play which was a lovely surprise the other day. We love it and go whenever we can and for all the events which are super fun.
Our child attended a Forest Babies session at Wildlings. During the session, a plastic mirror distributed to the children was swung by another child and cut our toddler’s forehead. We understand that minor bumps can happen when young children play together. However, what concerned us was how the incident was handled afterwards. After we asked the school to review the situation and provide clarification, we were told that before our child could attend future sessions, we would need to sign a participant waiver acknowledging the risks of the programme. In other words, after a child was injured during a session using materials provided by the organisers, the proposed resolution was for parents to sign a liability waiver in order to continue attending. While the mirrors were described as “age-appropriate educational materials,” the fact remains that a toddler was cut on the face during the session. The explanation we received focused largely on the nature of outdoor play and parental accompaniment rather than on reviewing the safety of the materials or the activity setup. We appreciate the refund offered for that session. However, after careful consideration we decided not to return. For parents considering the programme, it may be worth asking in advance how incidents involving injuries are reviewed and what steps are taken afterwards.
We live nearby and have been bringing our two kids here for years. Honestly, we just wanted them to spend more time outdoors and avoid the constant temptation of TVs and iPads. It’s really different from everything else around here — not another indoor play centre. There’s nothing fancy about it, but kids don’t need that. They just enjoy being outside and playing freely. It genuinely feels like a place designed for kids. It actually reminds me of how I grew up back home. I never expected to find something like this in Singapore. If you’re looking for something that really gets your kids outdoors, it’s definitely worth trying. They also offer a variety of programmes and different price points.

Wildlings Forest School uses a monthly recurring fee model, displayed at the mid-range price tier. The exact monthly figure is not publicly listed, so families should contact the centre directly for a current fee schedule. When enquiring, ask whether a one-time registration fee applies, what deposit is required upon securing a place (many playgroups require one to two months upfront), and whether any uniform or insurance costs are charged separately. Childcare and playgroup fees from ECDA-licensed centres are GST-exempt for Singapore citizens and permanent residents. However, as no ECDA licence is currently listed for this provider, parents should confirm the GST treatment of fees directly. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
ECDA subsidies — including the Basic Subsidy (up to S$300 per month for childcare, or up to S$600 for infant care) and the Additional Subsidy for lower-income households — are available only at ECDA-licensed childcare centres. The Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy is similarly tied to ECDA-licensed provision and requires the mother to be employed for at least 56 hours per month. KiFAS applies specifically to MOE kindergartens. Wildlings Forest School does not currently list an ECDA licence, which may affect subsidy eligibility. Parents should contact the centre and ECDA directly to clarify whether any subsidies apply. Subsidy rates and income thresholds change periodically, so always verify current figures at ecda.gov.sg before making enrolment decisions.
Demand for quality playgroup and forest school programmes in Singapore can be high, and popular providers often fill their cohorts several months in advance. For programmes starting in January — the peak intake month aligned with the school calendar — it is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead. Younger age groups and smaller cohort sizes may fill earlier. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Wildlings Forest School directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's intended start date and age group, and to understand the steps involved in confirming enrolment.
