Thank you very much to Wong Ling Kennel for taking such good care of our dog while we were away! Although this kennel (located at the Animal Lodge in Sungei Tengah) is utilitarian and bare-bones (it's a kennel, not a hotel), the premises are very clean and the dogs are well taken care of. Here are some things we were extremely happy with: - We felt that the team was competent at handling dogs, particularly mongrels like ours. They assessed our dog's comfort level with other dogs and handled him well even though he was nervous. We were apprehensive at first but very quickly felt completely confident that they would know what to do. - Constant communication and daily updates with photos and videos. Our dog, who has never been away from family before, looked very happy and content at the kennel. We were probably more anxious than he was and the updates really helped calm us down! - The team genuinely cares about dogs. Our dog has food allergies so we opted to us our own food instead of their in-house food. The team took note of his allergies and were very generous with giving him their own treats, something we were not expecting but definitely made our dog very happy! Overall, we are thoroughly happy and definitely feel comfortable boarding our dog with them again in the future! (Photo of our dog happy in his "room". Note: The bed in the photo was our dog's own, which we brought over to make him feel more comfortable.)
