About Yellow Pot Catering

About Yellow Pot Catering

Yellow Pot Catering is an islandwide event caterer based at Duxton Road, offering per-pax catering services across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, though ACRA registration has not been confirmed and no regulatory licences are on record. The Google rating of 4.3 out of 5 across 455 reviews provides a robust signal of customer experience.

For most events, the process begins with a WhatsApp, phone, or enquiry-form message outlining your pax count, event date, venue, and dietary mix — halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, or gluten-free requirements should be stated upfront so the team can confirm menu options and, where relevant, halal certification details. Confirm the minimum headcount, whether the quote covers delivery and setup, whether chafing dishes and warmers are included or billed separately, and whether a buffet attendant will be on-site. A menu tasting before committing is standard practice for larger orders and worth requesting. Agree the balance payment schedule, setup arrival window, and teardown timing in writing before signing.

Contact Yellow Pot Catering via WhatsApp or phone with your event date, expected headcount, and dietary requirements to receive a per-pax quotation and confirm current availability.

Everything was good and delicate - not overly seasoned or salty, including the fried red bean pancake which was light and crispy. I really liked the soups, especially the crab meat one but the prices are very steep and I don’t think I’m at the tax bracket where I can say they are fair for their also delicate portions. The ambience was fantastic; it was comfortable and cosy with not many other guests around and the service staff were all nice.

The first thing that catches my attention is the decor, dark and classy. Internally it is a very quiet place where one can enjoy a good dinner with a group of friends in a very relaxed manner. The food are very good especially the duck meat and the beef. There are 3 choice of desserts and we order all 3, standard fare, no surprises in quality. All in all, worth visiting at least once. Will try visiting again in future.

I don’t even know where to start with my experience at Yellow Pot—it was absolutely phenomenal! The food was out of this world—a true treat for the palate! Every dish was bursting with flavor, but the roasted duck and sesame shrimp were the clear favorites. They were so delicious, I’m still thinking about them! The atmosphere was just as impressive, with the stunning yellow pot collection adding a unique charm to the space. And the customer service? Simply amazing! Ivy, Pearl, and Haiz went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. They even treated us to a mini photoshoot around the restaurant, which made me feel extra special! 🤩 I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend this place—you won’t regret it!

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant yesterday, and it was an amazing experience! The service was exceptional—Evelyn (楷欣) was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She greeted me warmly, kindly offered to store my birthday cake in the fridge, and even brought me some peanuts to snack on while I was waiting for my friends. Throughout the meal, she provided excellent service with a constant smile, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and to my surprise, at the end of the meal, they even brought me a small, incredibly tasty cake as a birthday surprise! Evelyn and the team sang “Happy Birthday” for me, which was such a heartwarming and memorable moment. I truly appreciate the kindness and effort, and this birthday felt extra special because of them. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. Thank you, Evelyn, for making my birthday so wonderful!

Hubby chose Yellow Pot Restaurant to celebrated my birthday dinner. When I stepped in, I felt beautiful art deco style restaurant. When I tried the foods which are delicious and fantastic . The lion mane mushroom is a must order, the taste is like chicken. Fried prawns with sesame mayo must try also. The beef is soft and suitable cook. Last is dessert Cream of Mango and Rockmelon with sago pearls which is making us remember our home tastes. We really like all dishes. Service was friendly and prompt too, Grace in particular. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Yellow Pot Catering charge per pax?

Yellow Pot Catering uses per-pax pricing, which is standard for buffet and event catering in Singapore. Market norms run from roughly S$15–25 per pax for a standard buffet (minimum approximately 30 pax), S$25–40 per pax for premium spreads, and S$18–30 per pax for mini-buffets aimed at smaller groups of 8–15 pax. Live-station setups typically start from S$30–60 per pax. Beyond the per-pax rate, confirm whether the quote includes delivery and setup fees (non-central or landed addresses often carry a surcharge), chafing dishes and warmers, a buffet attendant on-site (typically S$80–150 per attendant), and waste collection after the event. GST and any service charge should also be itemised. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary options and halal certification does Yellow Pot Catering offer?

Contact Yellow Pot Catering directly to confirm which dietary tracks their menu supports — halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef, and gluten-free are the most common requirements for Singapore events. For halal, the key question is whether the caterer holds a MUIS-issued halal certificate with a valid licence number and expiry date. 'Halal-friendly' or 'no pork no lard' without MUIS certification is not the same as certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict compliance. Cross-contamination protocols for mixed dietary events — where halal and non-halal dishes are served at the same function — are also worth clarifying. Most caterers offer a menu tasting for orders above a minimum value; request this before paying any deposit.

Is Yellow Pot Catering licensed and how is food safety handled?

No regulatory licences are currently recorded for Yellow Pot Catering on this listing. Before booking, ask the caterer to share their SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence number and hygiene grade — A is highest, then B, C, and D. If halal meals are required, request the MUIS certificate directly; both documents should be available on request from any legitimately operating caterer. On food safety, cooked hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C in chafing dishes per SFA guidelines. Confirm the setup arrival time, buffet replenishment and hot-hold protocol, and the policy for safe handling of leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
