Families typically begin by contacting the clinic directly by phone or through the online enquiry form to arrange a first consultation. As a private paediatric specialist, the first consultation fee is typically S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Appointments may cover childhood illness management, developmental milestone review, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule, and referrals for further investigations where needed. Blood panels, X-rays, and other diagnostics are billed separately from the consultation. Families using an Integrated Shield Plan should check pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before the visit, particularly for any planned procedures or day surgery.
The most straightforward next step is to call the clinic directly or submit the enquiry form to confirm appointment availability, bring your child's vaccination records and any prior medical reports, and ask the clinic to confirm the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration before your visit. Listing data is incomplete — contact Yip Chin Ling William International Clinic & Adolescent directly to confirm details.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Good: Dr William Yip is experienced and professional. That is why we go to this clinic. The ultrasound professional is good and explains things well. They tend to be pretty flexible with appointments - but the trade off is a busy waiting room with lots of kids and waiting. Bad: The front desk staff is a bit brusk and seems disorganized. Ugly: The nutritionist adds no value. One doesn’t need to pay $1K for sometime to tell them to eat vegetables and low fat foods…
Staff called Rita SUPER rude. Called in to enquire whether Dr Ngiam do standby for newborn, she asked for my Gynae name but I think it’s not necessary at this point of time. She forced me to said who is my gynaecologist. After I told her, she told me they was not closed in relationship, so will not do standby. WOW! I didn’t know paediatrician can choose which gynaecologist to work with. Good luck to whoever who choose to send their kids here.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Able to give advice at times of emergency. Very good doctors with many years of experience, hopefully they don’t retire yet as my child is still quite young.
Doctors may be good but the clinic is so Poorly managed. 2 hour wait time even with an appointment. Unacceptable especially at those Prices. Will never go back
Experienced pediatricians My daughter is under Dr Ngiam and we love him! The place can get very crowded though, time for them to expand!

As a private paediatric specialist clinic, a first consultation typically runs S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Investigations are billed on top of the consultation: a blood panel is typically S$60–200, an X-ray S$80–150, and an ultrasound S$150–400. Prescriptions, specialist referral letters, and medical reports carry separate charges. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or day surgery, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave withdrawal, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile. Every legitimate private clinic should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, and every practising doctor should be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — searchable by name to confirm registration, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. Before your child's first appointment, ask the clinic for its MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's SMC registration number, then verify both independently. For paediatric surgical sub-specialisms, a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FRCS or FAMS) is the meaningful additional credential to look for. Listing data is incomplete — contact the clinic directly to confirm these details.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements and, for any planned procedure, request a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the appointment to avoid claim disputes afterwards. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient, or S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for listed conditions. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling session at the clinic so you receive an itemised estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket costs in writing before any payment is made.
