It has been verified by KakiList and holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating across 210 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and suggests consistent delivery. Enquire by sharing your event date, venue, and rough headcount, then discuss theme and style in a consultation before agreeing on package or à la carte scope. A deposit of typically 30–50% is paid on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Lead times vary considerably — weddings and larger corporate events benefit from booking six to twelve months ahead, particularly for popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November; smaller celebrations and birthday parties generally need six to twelve weeks. Confirm what the package covers end-to-end, including setup and teardown windows, travel charges for non-central venues, wet-weather or backup contingency plans, and whether public liability insurance is held for setups at HDB void decks, condo function rooms, or hotel properties where the venue may require a copy of the certificate.
Contact Origin Events Singapore directly by phone or via the enquiry form to discuss your event date and brief, and request a written quotation with the deposit schedule, deliverables timeline, and rescheduling policy before signing.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Visited in Oct 2025 Origin had long been on my list of cocktails bars to visit in SG. Finally made it here and enjoyed a bunch of their cocktails. The Ants & Bees cocktail was my favourite and I would definitely recommend ordering this drink. Also liked the “Silent Treatment” and “Saz-Air-Ak” cocktails among the other ones we tried. Ordered a few food items too, of which the Baked Camembert was quite nice. Service was fine. The staff were pleasant to converse with and they explained the drinks in detail when serving them. We had made a reservation and I would strongly recommend to do so, as the place was quite crowded on the night we went. Would 100% recommend a visit to this fantastic bar.
21st Aug 2025: Visited Origin for the first time & had such an amazing experience! Everyone from the front of house, the servers & mixologists were the epitome of great service. The mixologists were so welcoming & friendly while making us delicious cocktails. Thank you in particular to Carlos, Cherry, Aki, Niza & Mela (i might have misheard her name, she was the only lady in a red jacket) for taking care of us & making the visit such a memorable one. The food was REALLY good too, from the fries, the chips with phillipines-inspired scallop ceviche & even the complimentary mixed nuts. The fries might be the best fries I’ve ever had. Every dish impressed so much. I will definitely be recommending Origin to all my friends & planning to return soon!!
we enjoyed our visit here. nice atmosphere. delicious drinks (esp the ants and bees cocktail!) and great service team! bar guys were exceedingly hospitable! food was good. some touch up to the sofa will be nice but all in all, will come back 😍
Classy hotel bar tucked within Shangri-la hotel, with some of the loveliest bartenders in action. Beautifully creative menu and deliciously balanced drinks. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the vibes. The bar bites they offer are also quite tasty. Have been back a couple of times since because it has been a lovely experience every time, shout out to Yvonne and Niza.
3 course set lunch for $48 per person. Appetisers: Roasted Potato leek soup and Josper smoked duck. Both really delicious. Mains: Pan seared Hoki and Tender Valley black Angus grain fed striploin MB4. Fish was a little too tough and dry. The sauces paired with the steak didn’t really complement the beef. Side: Creamed Spinach. Not really the style I appreciate. Dessert: Hazelnut Choco and Golden Kamquat. The golden kamquat was too overpowering with sourness. Loved the atmosphere and service on the hind side.

Origin Events Singapore prices its services on a package basis, and the final cost depends on the event type, scope, headcount, and duration. Singapore market norms for event planning give a useful reference: full event planning (excluding venue and catering) typically runs S$5,000–25,000+, while more focused scopes such as décor and styling or partial-day coordination sit lower. Itemise the full picture before signing — deposit (typically 30–50% on signing), balance schedule, number of hours or coverage days, deliverables timeline, travel charge for non-central venues, and GST. Lead time depends heavily on the event. For weddings, six to twelve months ahead is advisable — popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November fill earliest, and any planner taking on a full wedding will need sufficient runway to coordinate vendors, do site recces, and build the run-of-day schedule. For corporate events and milestone celebrations, three to six months is a reasonable minimum. Smaller gatherings such as birthday parties or baby full-month events generally need six to twelve weeks with an in-demand planner. A signed contract with a deposit is what holds the date — a verbal agreement does not. Confirm whether the date is still available before discussing scope in detail, and ask about wet-weather or force-majeure contingency if any portion of the event is outdoors or in an open-air venue.
The Singapore industry standard for event planners is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — typically the date hold, initial consultation and planning hours, vendor coordination, and any mock-up or recce work — and what portion, if any, is refundable on cancellation. Deposits are commonly non-refundable but transferable to a rescheduled date within a defined window. Ask specifically about the rescheduling policy in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as a public-health restriction or force-majeure situation, and confirm whether public liability insurance is held — particularly relevant for setups at HDB void decks, condo function rooms, or hotel venues that may request a copy of the certificate before permitting access.
